South Africa is one of the most gorgeous and culturally diverse destinations. It has three capital cities. Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg. This is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual region with varied cultures and religions. The country is bordered on the south by the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, and to the north by Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. South Africa is filled with relics of it's history and influence on the world. A visit to this country and it's bordering neighbours provides a rich wholesome cultural experience for any traveller . The landscape is lush, the people are warm, the food delicious with some exotics too. And of course, no experience to Africa is complete without a trip to the bush for the safari game excursion. 8 DAYS - SAMPLE SOUTH AFRICA ITINERARY






DAY 1 - USA DEPARTURE

Departure with overnight travel (depending on your gateway, you may have connecting flights).


DAY 2 - ARRIVAL CAPE TOWN

Cape Town is a cosmopolitan destination nestled where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Here you will find unique culture and history. Fine dining, shopping, excellent wines, luxurious accommodations and nightlife. This day is at your leisure so you may unwind and relax after your flight and transfer. A good place to start is to explore the vibrant V & Waterfront which is in walking distance of your hotel. Enjoy the warmth of the South Africans and savour their cuisine and entertainment.


DAY 3 - TABLE MOUNTAIN & CAPE WINELANDS

Begin with breakfast at your hotel then a visit to the impressive iconic Table Mountain where you will ride the cable car to the top with amazing views of Cape Town below. This giant mountain is listed as a UNESCO HERITAGE Site due to it's incredible flora. After your visit then it's off to the spectacular Cape Winelands laden with luxury wine farms and incredible scenery. You will be able to taste some of the finest wines in the world as well as test your hiking and biking skills on the delightful trails.


DAY 4 - ROBBEN ISLAND & JOHANNESBERG

After checking out of your hotel, you will take your visit to ROBBEN ISLAND, the place where South Africa's former president Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 18 of his 27 years of imprisonment. It is now a museum with tours guided by former inmates who are able to give first hand accounts of their time on the island. Once completed you will have a quick lunch then on to the airport to meet your flight to Johannesberg.


DAY 5 - APARTHEID MUSEUM & LEISURE

Johannesberg, now the financial capital of South Africa is home to the Apartheid Museum. After breakfast you will head out for your visit to the Museum. Here you will find chronicled the experiences of black Africans during the apartheid years. This evening is at your leisure. The Nelson Mandela Square offers shopping, restaurants, galleries and entertainment.


DAY 6 - SAFARI & LODGE EXPERIENCE

You will depart early for your 2 &1/2 hour drive to the SAFARI & LODGE . You will experience 2 game drives at this facility. One on the evening of your arrival and the other early in the morning before you check out.


DAY 7 - VICTORIA FALLS ZIMBABWE

Your final game drive before leaving your Safari & Lodge. After breakfast, it's off for your flight to Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. Once checked in at your lodge your driver and guide will meet you for your personal 2 hour tour of the falls. You will then have about an hour to relax before culminating your evening with a dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River with it's gorgeous sunsets and lots of game sightings as elephants and hippos come to the river to cool off.


DAY 8 - OVERNIGHT FLIGHT BACK TO THE USA
